Call for Proposals The Owhango Artist Residency (OAR) is situated in Owhango, Ruapehu District, National Park, New Zealand, a World Heritage Park. The Owhango Artist Residency is open to professional New Zealand creative practitioners, offering the selected artist an opportunity to reside in Owhango and undertake a specific artistic project.
The Owhango Summer Sculpture Show is located in the historical milling town of Owhango, bordering the Ohinetonga Reserve, next to the Tongiriro World Heritage National Park. Twenty leading New Zealand sculptors will exhibit at the inaugural exhibition from 5 - 20 January 2019.
The exhibition offers viewers the opportunity to view works of art in the unique environment of Owhango, close to New Zealand's most stunning scenery.
All works exhibited will be for sale. Admission by koha.
