Stuart Bridson achieved a First Class Masters degree in Fine Arts from Canterbury University in 2000. He now works part time at the Waikato Museum and divides the rest of his time between making art and growing vegetables with his partner at The Flowering Bean Organic Farm in the Waitetuna Valley, near Raglan. Stuart's sculptures are mainly based on environmental issues and a contemplation of possible future scenarios.
